= Sunday during Sacrament, we had three great speakers, and a Primary song was sung in Korean. Some takeaways. Jesus won't withdraw from you. Miracles are a part of everyday life; if a church says miracles have ended, it is admitting it has lost faith. Faith is a belief in something that is not seen, that is true; we can't see the air, but we can feel it, and we breathe it. Jesus is not still hanging on the cross. He is alive; share your testimonies of Him.
= Quinn Millington had heard from our former mission president about my work with spreadsheets and asked for help in pulling and analyzing data for his therapy business; when I mentioned Steph's background in medical billing, he asked for her help too. Stay tuned.
= We rehearsed in Wetumpka with the Stake Choir. Home, we listened to Sunday on Monday (scripture discussion). I dug into this week's lesson until about 0100.
= Monday, Crosby Electric fixed our electrical situation, gave us a solution to noise from the dehumidifier in the pool room, and pointed out that many newer refrigerators need a non-GFI outlet.
= Tuesday, I dropped off the minivan at Tire City and was driven home. The firm sent videos showing work to be done and animation of the situations they were talking about. The fix will be expensive, but this vehicle has the potential to be with us for a few years: worth the investment.
= I assembled Steph's adjustable desk for the podcast; then I used the hint from the electrician yesterday to discover that the refrigerator the renters left wasn't broken after all; now to gift it or sell it.
= I proposed changing an arrangement as old as our marriage: laundry. I'll do dishes going forward; Steph will do the laundry.
= Wednesday, my replacement laptop was delivered. (The old one reboots twice a day, has only enough room for a couple more months of photos, and some of its keys are flaky.) Steph finalized lyrics for her podcast theme song; now it's my job to write the music.
= Thursday, Steph's Garmin replacement watch arrived today; hers has finally died. I finished the music for Steph's podcast theme song.
= Friday, we set up the TV the Blantons had given us; we haven't had one in decades. We then discovered that this device has hundreds of channels. Steph used the washer and dryer; no more laundromat.
= Saturday, in the words of Steph, we did "nothin'". I worked on the journal and blog.

I had tried to grate Spam for frying as I did in Ghana with fake spam (chicken luncheon meat), but real Spam doesn't grate as well. Steph worked to recover the meal.
We've since moved items to fill likely vantage points such as this.
I needed Steph's help to force the halves of the desktop together; the holes for the pegs didn't quite line up.
The refrigerator/ freezer left by the renters does work after all (on an extension cord from the living room).
Since this point, we skip the canned food (for now) and give her moistened dry food; that has worked for a few days now.
A TV with real TV channels; we haven't had one in decades. (I have trouble avoiding a screen in the room, and TV shows often tie people to a schedule.)
On July 8, Lt. Walter G. Haut was serving as Public Relations Officer at the Roswell Army Air Field (RAAF). Under orders from Col. [classified], the Commander of the [classified] Bomb Group at Roswell, Haut wrote and distributed the press release that spawned a front-page article in the evening edition of the Roswell Daily Record on July 8, 1947. The article was headlined, "RAAF Captures Flying Saucer on Ranch in Roswell Region."
Hours later the first press release was rescinded, and a second press release was written, stating that the [classified] Bomb Group had mistakenly identified a weather balloon as wreckage of a flying saucer. -- SuperGraphics at u-haul.com
